Michael Jackson dies at Los Angeles hospital
World famous U.S. pop star Michael Jackson was pronounced dead on Thursday afternoon by doctors after arriving at a Los Angeles hospital, the Los Angeles Times reported.
The 50-year-old former "King of Pop" was earlier rushed to UCLA Medical Center in cardiac arrest from his home in a Los Angeles suburb, the newspaper's website cited local law enforcement officials as saying.
Earlier a local website also ran an unconfirmed report saying that Jackson had died.
